Ok I know some of you are on the same email list from Gibson.

As a long time Explorer lover I find the whole idea of this to be, well, oh just look at the link and you will understand a frustration that can't be put into words.

LOL! As odd looking as it is, the "V" version (above) doesn't bother me, as much as the other(s)!

I do wish they'd have left the center part solid, and kept the neck pickup! But...???

Just hope they'll leave the LP's and SG's alone!! If they want to do something to the SG's...go

back to early '60's (wider) beveling and deeper scarfing (inside horn areas). Now THAT would be

COOL!

Yeah thanks for bringing it forward animalfarm.

I've been busy lately (painting bedrooms) and I havent checked the forums I frequent very often due to that.

But when I saw that, that, thing in my email inbox I just couldn't stand it. I had to get it out or the bitterness would have eaten me alive.

I love my wife so that's why I paint bedrooms funny colors and buy weird art deco home decor stuff.

And I also get to do projects like this>>>>

Oh' date=' God....It's a TOY. What are they going to do to the Les Paul?[/quote']

Maybe, they will probably drill a bunch of holes size of a golf ball through LP's body and call it "Les Paul Polka Dot Edition!" =D>

(Can you feel my creative juice flowin'?!! Boo-ya!!!)

As anumalfarm said' date=' it's been covered.

BUT how about this???

Even the headstock is "chambered!" =D>

Wonder how the headstock sounds? "Hollow," no doubt! ("Sleepy," or otherwise!) ;>b

Next, they'll put a "nanomag" in the end of the fingerboard...make it "acoustic," as well! LOL!
