brianh
It looks like it should be worth at least $100 in parts (check tuners and pickups) but not sure if neck/body is worth the trouble. http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/msg/1058984934.html Thanks,
Ricochet
Hamer Doublecut. I think it's worth 100 bucks
brianh
Thanks Ricochet. There's one on eBay asking $789. Blue book seems to think they're worth something in between, and the pickups don't appear original. I guess I'll have to get it unless somebody here wants it. animalfarm
LOOKs like ok fer a hunnerd bux! I like the description - "two volume knobs and one TON pot..." No bottom end on YOUR guitar? Well, just install one of our patented ONE TON POTS, and you'll sound like a 747 at take-off...
sledge57
That is one seriously ugly headstock, you could use that guitar for a kayak paddle :-
kevin134
If its a hamer should defintely be worth $100, though they do have that cheaper slammer line.. worth taken a look at the least
generation zero
I'd roll the dice on it for $100, sure. A little tweaking and a new output jack, and you could have a real gem on your hands. If not, you should have no problem selling it for what you have in it, after a good cleaning. The case alone would probably sell for $40 or $50, honestly. I say grab it. If the pups suck, drop in some GFS replacements. You don't see many vintage-ish set neck guitars for $100, and most of the cheaper (crappier) stuff should be bolt on from that period. Go for it man, nothing to lose.
