antwhi2001
I said a few weeks ago I was GASing for a Dot, ended up with a 1997 Samick-built Sheraton for £295 from a local independent dealer. I love it, I've put Burstbuckers in it using the "cheat" wiring method, and swapped the pickguard for a plain black. Fitted a cream switch tip and cast metal gold finish pup surrounds. The tuners work absolutely fine, and the bridge is nice and solid. I think the selector switch has already been replaced, it's an enclosed design. Just tweaking the truss rod now, but no more mods : This is now the one and only Epi in my stable, but it's the best one I've owned. Next step is to gig it and see what it's like at volume... RotcanX
I think the selector switch has already been replaced' date=' it's an enclosed design.[/quote']No, that's the style of switch Samick was installing back in the day. My '94 Samick-built LP Classic had the same switch, which I eventually replaced with a Switchcraft.
