tgenza
My G-400 has a plastic plate on the headstock that says Gibson. Is it possible that it starrted out as a Gibson and wasn't just right so they made it an Epi? SN# I03020463

Is it possible that it starrted out as a Gibson and wasn't just right so they made it an Epi? SN# I03020463 Nope........Epis used "Gibson" truss rod covers to show their affiliation status until sometime in 2004. Yours was made in Korea at the Saien plant in Feb '03. I have a G-400 from the same plant' date=' thats a Jan '04 model with the same "Gibson" TRC. Welcome to the forum !! OOPS.......Peter beat me to the answer, and even spelled Saein correctly.........
