Kiwi
Had our first gig with my current band tonight, it went awesomely well! The arrangers couldn't wait to book us up for more stuff in the close future, which is... well, awesome. As you might notice, I'm on an adrenaline high right now (not to mention the few shots of whiskey beforehand to calm my nerves a bit, hurr hurr). Anyhow, here's to what great fun gigging is! Everyone who has the chance, for god's sake, GO FOR IT! To those saying "pics or it didn't happen," it just happens to be so that one of my close friend's sister was there, who coincidentally works for a newspaper. I'm not sure if we're going to end up there, but at least I might manage to get a hold of a few pics to upload. Funny thing was, I, otherwise quite "normal", went completely Angus up there... Good times, good times. Oh well, gotta stop rambling.

sparky scott 29
Interesting take on how different people take on situations out there.. I'm just observing ... Personally, I don't have big enough kahunes to go up on stage, which probably shows my skill set.... I can however, scare all the cats out of the neighborhood though if you would like me to do that for ya. Sorta like a pied piper.
charlie brown
Congrats, Kiwi, on a good show, and subsequent "high," afteward. There's almost nothing like it, huh? I too, enjoy playing out, for people, in a "band" situation, though don't seem to have a desire for "solo" efforts, really. Our only problem, here, is that there's more bands, than places to play, and even the places that do book live bands, don't do so, but once or twice a month. So...it's bit limited, out here, in the "Sticks!" Still, when we do get to play, it's always a real Hoot!! Cheers, and keep on Rockin'! CB
Notes_Norton
I've been gigging since I was in junior high school, and now as I approach senior-citizenship (faster that I'd like) I'm still doing it, I make my living gigging, and I still get a thrill doing it.
