BillyGibson
I'm toooling around yesterday and found this on Musician Friends: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-Casino-Electric-Guitar?sku=518295 Is this because cherry Casino's outsell the Naturals and Vintage Sunburst by 5 to 1? Flak jacket on. Ready.
Supersonic
Great. That's the color I want and it just went up $100 for no reason. I think I'd rather spend the same amount on a Valensi Riviera.
waterloocasino
All three colors are $625 Canadian at Long & McQuade. I paid $665 for my cherry Casino in April.<br style="text-shadow: none;">
BillyGibson
I think it's just MF playing games. Their sister company GC, still has it for $599.

BillyGibson
I think we call it capitalism. Get as much as you can, while you can. That's why there's more than one place to shop.
brianh
If GC still has it for $599, then it's probably a typo on the MF website. GC and MF are diffent divisions of the same company, so their pricing is supposed to be uniform. Anyway, all you have to do is call MF and ask for a price match. They'll sell you a cherry Casino for $599 and it'll be on your doorstep by the end of the week, Bob's your uncle.

That's fine for those in the US or Europe, high populations, many vendors ... In Oz the opposite is true, espcially if you live in the country areas (me), this is one of the main reasons I purchase mostly from the US, only problem being high shipping charges. I have to drive 45mins to get to the only shop within 300kms (200 miles approx), if I want to go to somewhere with more than one shop, it's a day and a half drive.
