PickitPaul
Hi all, i wanted to ask if anybody knows if the recent Custom J-45 with Adi tops are forward shifted braced like the AJ? Beside the differences like the nut width, scale length these are the same shape. Can you describe if you played both I should say that i am looking for the dry Gibson thump on the bass. Should i be looking at the SJ-200 instead? The 45 and AJ are known to have this too, right? My 'bird has a good bass low end and nice highs, but no thump if you know what i mean. ajsc
The 1st I've heard of the J-45 custom, sounds like a great guitar! Where could a person see more about this one!! Sounds as though you could find what your looking for from any of these! I grab the SJ-200 when I want to be shaken from reality!!

guitarstrummer
I'm not sure about the bracing in the J-45 Custom. I know the True Vintage J-45 has the AJ bracing, but haven't heard of other J-45 models that have it.
sfden1
My local has a J-45TV with an adi top. I want it and I can't get that guitar out of my mind. And here I thought I was GAS free. Oh well. I haven't seen a custom J45 with an adi top, but the TV I looked at is a custom, so it has the AJ bracing.
