Silenced Fred
This isn't a "I wanna sound just like Josh Homme" I was just wondering how I can get that sound of the lead line, its very low on Make It Wit Chu, not really sure how to describe it... It seems like the tone is all the way down, and it kind of wheezes... if that makes any sense Thanks
Versatile
Cool clip.... Tonewise there are 2 IMHO The clean one sounds like medium compression The other one sounds like amp distortion Too much 'snogging' for UK TV  V

LarryUK
It's the sound of a cheap single coil, semi acoustic guitar. A bit of distortion. I bet you could never get that with a Gibson. Jack White has a sound like that.
damian
I would think that one could get that sound with an electric guitar, a pick, and an amp.......but I COULD be wrong......... ........... Actually, yup, a single coil...Josh records with cheap amps, often an old pignose.....learn pinch harmonics, that'll help.....he also 'dumbs down' his tone.....Low fi kinda guy... .. The gear you have now should do it for you Nathan...tinker a bit.....
