A buddy of mine had mentioned to me that someone had some amps that might need work, and would sell them for cheap. I went to check them out, and brought them home. The first one is a Marshall Class 5, it just needed to have the speaker wire soldered. The second one is a Fender Blues Deluxe. It's from the early '90s, and just needed to have the pots cleaned. They are both kick *** amps. I am totaly impressed, actually blown away by the sound from the Class 5. I can't believe it's only 5 watts. That little sucker wails. I have a JMP 100 watt Super Lead, and I have to crank that sucker up until glass breaks to get that same sound. The Fender is a good one too. It sounds great with my Tele, nice clean tone. I didn't spend as much time playing with it as I did the Marshall, but did notice that it is loud. I plugged my Les Paul, and Gretsch into the C5, and had a blast in the garage playing Led Zep, and AC/DC. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
