crust Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 http://www.epiphone.com/news.asp?NewsID=2020 I'll take the Zenith Masterbilt thank you Hey Epiphone, make reissues of some of these guitars. I like the recording guitar. Actually, I'll take 1 of each please.
cunningham26 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 it's so surprising, and this goes along with that other post about the grammar in the newsletter, that epi has such a crappy website and little crappy tack-on sites. the main gibson site is ok, but they could do so much better with so little effort. They should take the vintage site and at the least put some high-res photos up and have them flash enabled, similar to what Wildwood does. It's just so terrible that you have these beautiful instruments, and they only show these little pictures. you could take a lesson from here as to how a vintage guit should look! Epi1, let me know if you want to hire me to do web design or shoot the photos of those beauties! We'll get the vintage page and main epi page out of the late 90's together!
eor Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 didn't want to be the guy to say it, but yes, the websites suck pretty hard. archtop, com has both better photography and a better collection of very vintage epis. it's embarrassing, really.
gearhead Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Yep, Epi and Gibson sites are lacking, at least when it comes to detailed descriptions of the guitars! look at the Gibson site and the Gibson guitar descriptions, a good bit of info, like "mahogany body with carved maple top and set one piece mahogany neck" vs. Epiphone, "Les Paul-like features, great tones.....................full-on, in-your-face, rockin’ machine with all the great specs you've come to expect from Epiphone".
