Deacon Blue
Hi guys, I purchased a 2008 les paul classic antique before Christmas and I have a question. The volume and tone knobs are really stiff to turn, is there anything I can do to make them any smoother. By the way...I love this guitar. Thanks for the help. Searcy
Replacing the pots is the only way to make the Gibson knobs feel like your other guitars. Their pots are just stiffer to turn. It help you from accidentally changing your settings but it makes pinky swells hard to pull off.
L5Larry
"Cleaner/Lubricant" will free them up a little, if not more. The product is available in a spray can from any Radio Shack or electronics store. Read and follow directions.
LarryUK
I was going to say 'antibiotics'. But you were on about a different thing. ;)
