BigKahune
. Very cool. Bill Black's bass. Very cool indeed Sir Paul - especially playing a right handed bass left handed. Yeah. Check it - strung right handed. I didn't know he could do that. Thanks Tommy !

drathbun
Paul is an amazing musical genius. When he met John Lennon at a holiday fete in Woolton, he "auditioned" for John's band by grabbing a right handed guitar, played it upside down, left handed and played Eddie Cochran's 20 Flight Rock straight through playing AND singing. That is not easy the "right" way around!

That is not easy the "right" way around! Not only that - he also remembered the lyrics. By the way - Was the Macca-written 69 pop tune Goodbye sung by Mary Hopkin ever a hit in the US ? BigKahune
. Yep. Pretty high, but I don't think it was a top 10. Definitely top 40.
