meanstreak
Sounds good, but just don't look right IMHO! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNZHcyQHRGk
vincentw
Kearny is one of our local boys (Nashville). I agree, the guitar looks naked. Still a nice finish.
BoyVader
Maybe it was a dodgey glue job?
onewilyfool
It does look a little funny...his style is pretty tame....maybe he doesn't need one???
Alex_78
An Hummingbird without pickguard is not an Hummingbird, perhaps it might be a disgraced Southern Jumbo.
gijs
Looks naked, probably sounds waaay better without that damp cloth glued to the top :-)
jchabalk
if you look closely at the guitar at the 2m52s mark you can see the outline of the pickguard reflecting in the light. i think it's the adhesive on the surface that hasn't been cleaned off yet but it's pretty hard to tell for sure. definitely fits the shape of the hummingbird pickguard though. jchabalk
also... the guitar sounds great. i'm guessing it's a mix of that mic pointed towards the soundhole/neck and the on-board pickup (it looked like there was a cord in there anyway).
