I saw him years ago and will die happy having seen him do Highway 61 on a Firebird. I also saw him about 4 years ago and he had drank an entire fifth of whiskey before going on stage. saturn Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 I saw him back in the early 90s and he looked like he was on his last leg then. Played great though. I recently saw footage of him at the most recent Crossroads Festival It was kinda sad actually. I honestly thought maybe I was watching one of those overdubbed "Johnny Winter Shreds" type videos. Thats Fat Albert isn't it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDT7GP9l1-I&feature=related I saw him in July '70 at the Atlanta Pop Festival playing with the Allman Brothers on an incredible jam.
