TommyK Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 I've seen that many times. Used to be able to clear a coon if'n he kept his head down, and missed the tie rod and differential pumpkin. Now-a-days, on street cars, there isn't enough clearance for anything bigger than a squirrel. Me thinks he may have got his tail clipped this time. Notice how his tail is straight up in the air before the car straddles him. Then it is flat out back after the car clears him. I am surprised a race car such as that had enough clearance for a squirrel. Most times, there is a hole worn in the floor pan at the end of a race.
