63ac30 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Oops. I guess this should be posted in the vintage forum. Sorry...
BigKahune Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 . Don't bother posting again unless you've got bigger pictures with no angles and straight overhead shots. Can't see a thing in those tiny pics, except for the shot of the front of the headstock. I have a concern - The placement of the Gibson script logo looks too low with too much room between the logo and the top of the headstock. And the shape of the top of the headstock looks a bit exaggerated to me. So I'd like to see more of the guitar through better pics. Here's a legit 1977 - http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/30U-16478.htm -

Eracer_Team Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 If and when you do get back around here to post better pictures. I would assume that a 1973 Les Paul is a Norlin era and would have a volute on the back of the headstock and a pancake body. (others will correct me if I'm wrong) Look for a body that looks like its been stacked notice the thickness at the back of the headstock Thanks to MLP forum link: http://www.mylespaul.com/forums/norlin-years/112084-lp-professional-norlin-not.html for the pictures.
