The most versatile bridge humbucker pickup in a Gibson mahogany guitar, blues to metal

I would add some other brands, but since there is only 9 fields per poll, I narrowed it down to Seymour Duncans an Gibsons.

I have a 2004 `76 reissue Explorer, trying to settle with one pickup that can cover lots og territory.

Thanks for your opinions.

IMHO, I think that the '57 classics are the most useful pups in a non-chambered body. I also like the 498r/498t combo and the '57 classic plus. I don't have a lot of time spent with the bb or any of the other pups that you mentioned, but I have several years of experience with T-Tops, '57s and 498s and I can play any music I want to with them...disclaimer - I don't do much metal.
