Namvet
Made a pedal board. Bought a cutting board, mounted "C" channel along 1 edge then rubber strips to keep from sliding. Pedals mount with velcro. Now to learn how to use them!
Twiz
Cool idea to use a cutting board. I like it. You could probably even find like a small suitcase or something to put it in with your cables and stuff, and you're good to go jam.

Already have the case, cables, power supply etc. Just needed a board. Size is 9 X 14 inches.
krock
Thats a good idea. Ive heard of the ikea shelf instead of a pedal train but never thought of using a chopping board. I did want to make a tele out of a really cool thick wooden chopping board but need to raise the funds.

EVOL!
Looks good. Back in the days before you could buy boards from places like Musicians Friend, we used to build our own: A scrap piece of lumber from the hardware store for $2, cover it with some contact paper, and you're good to go. Mine is about fifteen years old and still going strong.
