Guth
Just as an update, I've cooled off and still in love with the AJ. I am a serious maker of music, for sure, and at a place where I can slowly upgrade my tools. So I will. Thanks for all the feedback. That's cool — as long as you're able to hang on to the Bonneville. As someone else pointed out: if you didn't pay too much more for your Triumph, then I'd say you're doing really well overall. Enjoy the AJ! Whatever you do, don't try playing your guitar while riding your Triumph. Pleasure overload and conflicting stimuli could have disastrous results! Note to self: all three elements of this love triangle (bike, rider, guitar) could lose big time if this advice is not needed.
TommyK
Well maintained it will last longer than your motorcycle. You can hand it down to your grand kids. And... it's cheaper to operate.
ajay
I paid just over $2000 for my 2002 Sitka / East Indian Rosewood AJ in September of 2002 after tax. If you paid around $2500 it's still about the same now considering how much the dollar has been devalued.
