SG Express for KIds ?

Hi there wondering if anyone has a SG express and if suitable for a six year old, she's playing a 1/2 size acoustic at present.

Why not? I think it´s okay and a good start with electrics.

I have one, great little guitar, keep it under my desk at work, or handy to grab and play at home. Used for travel too, should be great for kids. Sounds and plays well too.

thanks was wondering how the size would suit a 6 year old, she's fine with a 1/2 size acoustic, this is more like 3/4 size ?

22" scale neck and full-size nut, so not really 3/4 size and definitely not 1/2 size.

I started my son at the age of 7 on a Squier Mini Strat which was later passed along to his younger sister when he grew out of it and into a full scale size Gibson Melody Maker. The neck length will be longer on the SG than the current 1/2 scale you're referring to, but the SG's body design will be an advantage for comfort. And it's a guitar that she'll grow into, not out of which should be a consideration too. Good luck and congrats to your you & your daughter for learning guitar at at her early age.
