KL
The Orange label on my J45 is lifting off on one side, so I was wondering what the best way to stick it back down is? I am sure others have had this minor issue at some time.
EuroAussie
I imagine just a bit of decent glue should do the trick ...
dchristo
get one of those glue sticks ( looks like chapstick ) from wallmart, home depot or lowes
KL
get one of those glue sticks ( looks like chapstick ) from wallmart, home depot or lowes That won't work, because the label is just lifting on one side, not enough of it is off to get that kind of glue stick under it. I don't want to try to pull the whole label off as it might rip it. I was thinking that just the application of a little water might do it. KL
Thanks for the replies. If anyone from Gibson is here I'd be interested to know what you use at the factory to glue the labels on with. Thanks.
Jeremy Morton
I second the glue stick method. if there is not enough room to get the stick on the paper? Apply the glue to your finger and put it on the correct area of the label and that should do the trick! JM
rar
They're self-adhesive peel-and-stick labels these days. Probably the same adhesive as the permanent labels at your local office supply store. -- Bob R

bobouz
A small piece of Scotch double-stick tape, cut to fit, may also do the trick. I've got a bit of the old blue label lifting on my Epi Cortez & bought the tape to try, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
