CoreyT
Just into my inbox, some good tips. http://www2.gibson.com/News-Lifestyle/Features/en-us/guitar-cleaning-0104-2011.aspx?utm_source=iContact&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Gibson%20Guitar%20Corp.&utm_content=Editorial+eBlast+10-16-2012 As far as polish goes though, I prefer the Virtuoso cream polish. The polish, not their cleaner. The cleaner only needs to be used if the axe looks like it has been out chopping wood. I have never tried the Gibson polish in this picture before. I also use the Gibson pump polish lightly once a month, and I always wipe down my guitars with a cotton cloth after playing them, and I use the String Cleaner gadget across the strings about four times afterwards too. zigzag
Good timing. I just bought that Gibson kit, but have not had a chance to use any of the products yet.
Buxom
Just wiping the strings after each play session can make them last up to a month longer. But polish doesn't matter if you're constantly playing/have corrosive sweat. (Rory G, the reason why his guitars had so little paint left)
