BigKahune
. OMG I've seen some bad ones, but this one is unbelievable. $600 for what amounts to splinters. I don't think even KSdaddy would go after that one. I'm curious to see if anyone takes the "straight neck" bait. .
DanvillRob
A little bondo and it'll be good as new.
stein
Too bad it isn't a J-45. Then you would have enough Rosewood to laminate yourself a fingerboard.

zombywoof
Definitely not a 1946 but still a later 1940s J-45. Ya'll may laugh but for those of us who own and sometimes have to find original parts for old guitars these are just the kind of offerings we look for. If you are fixing up an old J-45, the original bridge (which are hard as heck to find), pickguard (probably even harder to find) and tuners you could slavage off that pile of splinters would easily be worth some bucks to you. The riveted open gear Kluson tuners alone can fetch over $200. Throw in the case and not even including the neck it is not as ridiculous a deal as it appears on first look. It all depends on how bad you want those parts.
