Thermionik
Man, I hate that durned Arlen..... I've been trying to nail that bending notes within the chord thing for a while now. If'n I take a deep breath and concentrate real hard I can set myself up and just about do it. Once. Once in a lick or a run, maybe twice is a song. On a good day. With luck I hit the pitch too. That Arlen, he just rolls off a dozen in two-score notes. Man, I hate that durned Arlen.....
Rosewoody
Arlen is a great teacher, been learning from his vhs stuff for years. I had the pleasure of seeing Arlen perform acoustic show, all Gibsons too FWIW. Was also lucky enough to see Roy Buchanan. Humbling.

nolongermike@gibson
When Arlen was last in town we went out to Jack's BBQ and I taught that NY fellow what's what about pig. He's a great guy, really nice fellow, and I've rarely seen or heard a better player in my life. Astonishingly brilliant musician.
