tweed2
Saw this on eBay tonight. This thing is absolutely gorgeous. I remember a thread some time ago, by a luthier that was restoring one of these and I've wanted one ever since (it inspired me to get a Zephyr Blues Deluxe). Too bad this guy is asking so much, all though I'm sure that the value is there, due to it's rarity. Enjoy some guitar porn.
tweed2
Stop it! Next page on eBay had this gem. Same vintage, a little less bling. But very sweet.

tweed2
Something just dawned on me. Back several months ago, a topic came up as to "your dream guitar" and I posted this. Today, I posted this after seeing it on eBay. Eerily familiar.
Aster1
I'd like the Gretsch the best. Both are real beauties. But that Gretsch. If only I could play well enough to justify!! Bet that 2nd Epi would be a sweetheart too. Another beautiful guitar. Aster

That and I think that they are only making 20 of them (might be 50).

If I had kept on as a working musician I might have been tempted, but as a rabid hobbyist I just can't spend that much. My other artistic passion in life is photography and thanks to eBay I am able to die happy having owned a Hasselblad 500c/m for a short period of time. Darn eyesight had to go and spoil all the fun with that one! -Hsrry
tweed2
Another one just popped up on eBay. You don't see them for months, and then they're coming out of the wood work.
tweed2
Love those full-bodied blondes. This one has a little history to it, and some magazine time, too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Celebrity-Owned-Epiphone-Zephyr-Blues-Deluxe-Guitar-Featured-in-GP-Mazazine-/221201902304?pt=Guitar&hash=item3380a92ae0
tweed2
Never seen one of these before, didn't even know that they existed. Came across it in my search for my next guitar, which will probably have mini hums. I suppose it should have a natural finish, in order to join the family, but I would probably make an exception. Yummy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1959-VINTAGE-Epiphone-EMPEROR-THINLINE-Guitar-/121084375819?pt=Guitar&hash=item1c3130f30b
