tvguit Posted March 17, 2013 Share Posted March 17, 2013 I've played two 2013 J-35s. Both were fantastic instruments and each had it's own voice. One was a bit on the bassy side and the other was a perfectly balanced. The fit and finish were great on both. I prefer the TV style bracing on the J-35 over the J-45 standards. Very nice guitar -- sounds good, plays good, looks good. Nice n clean under the hood, has a pickup. Got a great price on mine from Fuller's Vintage. I think this is a winner from Gibson! PickitPaul Posted March 17, 2013 Share Posted March 17, 2013 I played 2 recently as both came into the dealer at the same time. They are very nice, one had more bass than the other. Both seem to be quite a bit brighter than the J45 to me. Could be they were brand new also, but the J45 was new too. I liked how light they were.
