Since then I have tried on her the John Pearse 80/20 Bronze Wound Bluegrass (.12 - .56), and the Gibson Masterbuilt Premium .12 - .53. I think the Gibson MP sound better than the JP on my guitar. GT Hurley Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 On my AJ I have found that Martin lifespan 7200"s sound the best. Then again I use medium gauge strings on every instrument I play.
