NGW

Had to (just HAD to) jump on a couple of opportunities that came up recently, resulting in 2 NGD in 1 week. Last time this is gonna happen, for a long time, anyway.

Epi Sorrento Reissue model looks to be sold out or nearly so. MF had a super deal so I got one of their last ones in my second color choice, Royal Olive Burst. Would prefer natural but the green isn't too obnoxious. Then SW had to go and offer 36 mos no interest, so I finally have an Elitist Casino. Early impressions are I'm blown away by the build quality of both guitars, fit and finish is excellent on both, the electrics are quality, the Gibson USA pickups on both are very good and generally what I was expecting, soundwise. They're both keepers and we'll all grow old together. My MIC casino is already sold and gone.

I play the Royal Olive Sorrento I obtained last year, every day. Great guitar imhomsp_thumbup.gif

Great looking amp you got there to go with your Epiphone guitars toomsp_smile.gif

Thanks, Fellers. The JCM is a great practice amp. It stays in the house these days. The Casino feels like a Gibson to me, the MIC Casino it replaced did not. The Sorrento feels more like an Epiphone, its fretboard radius seems flatter to me than a Gibson's.
