I did this on Garage Band with a Snowball Mic. I played the drums, the bass, the acoustic and electric guitar, and sung the two vocal tracks, which need a little help finding pitch at times.
If you have any suggestions on how to make the vocals less forced, I'd love to hear.
I love that. That is like early Eagles, Grateful Dead, Michael Murphy, etc. The vocals are fine.

Here's my first installment......

As far as the Gibson version...Nice Guitar, no doubt! Although, I never could figure
out, why they didn't bind the neck, on that model. Was that at "Chet's" request??
I noticed Lester didn't have a bound neck on most of the "Les Paul Recordings" he played. The one I owned was bound. I'm going to say these guys liked binding LESS as they got older.

Guitar picks - this is probably to me the one thing that can change the tone of a guitar more than anything. Its also the cheapest 'modification'.
BINGO !
And after many decades of gigging I would have told you you were NUTS a year ago for saying this.
My experiments with picks started out costing me $40.00 for a single Bluechip.
Let the insanity begin.....

Murph has a The SG that also looks sweet. I haven't seen either around on the forums in a while though.
It's not crap. The same luthiers built em', in Kalamazoo, with the same tools.
Give me a break.
Only a moron would say all Norlins are CRAP.......

Yes' date=' it's there hiding in plain sight - I don't know how I missed it before. On the back, faint, visible through the f-hole.

You should post pictures here still so we can argue about it.
I mean discuss it.

It sounded far better than it "should have". As always' date=' it comes down to the individual guitar.

Ain't that the truth......

Sorry to be so late joining the Club !
Here's mine in a Club around Jan., 2010. The side fills were total overkill, the drummer owned WAY too much p.a. gear, one reason I left that Band.
That's my 339 sitting next to it. People b1tch about Gibson a lot, I guess I'm just lucky. Mine are all exceptional guitars.
Best to ya.

You can use compressed air, like for blowing off your computer, if you were so inclined.
I'm not......

Whatever Slash drinks!
Slash drinks Budweiser.

I set mine up myself, and have gigged Gibsons for well over 30 years, never had any such problem. My '61 Melody Maker (with a Leo Quan bridge) could be gigged tonight. (the frets are about gone though......) I also wore the frets off a '72 Recording Les Paul. But it took 14 years.... (shoulda kept that one)

You're under arrest!
Hand over the guitar, and walk home.

I just bought my daughter a new '08 Studio Les Paul and the serial # can't be read by most people. I have the QC card, and I know, or I probably couldn't either.
The quality is fine, but I too question this practice.
Best of luck.
