I vote bot, since the replies stopped once folks stopped directly quoting him.

if Henry J, had not stepped in the Gibsons you are buying today would more than likely be coming out of China.
Bingo.

I'm not sure why no one talks about the prices the "other" guys are placing on their upper end line ups.
I'm sure they whine and snivel on those forums, as well.

I am NOT giving back all the money I made with Gibson guitars since the 70's....

That was great.

Gibson has always been an upper echelon brand of musical instruments.
Just like Silvertone was known as a cheaper brand.
This is a good thing.

20 dollar tuners are expendable items IMHO.
I have three or four of them.
I have a Peterson Stroboclip, and several Fishman FT2's. And the Peterson ap on my phone. I just enjoy fixing/saving things. This one lives on the roundneck Recording King.

MacGyver is alive and well.
It still works fine.

That's a pity.
Helluva project, though.

Well played...

The days of Bromberg, Raitt, Prine, Arlo, Steve Goodman, Jerry Jeff, Guy Clark, Townes and company.
Those were good days.

I've never seen one of those.
I bought my 72 "Recording" back around 79/80 and was gigging Mesa/Tempe/Phoenix, but I surely missed that one.

Greatness inspires.
Whining mediocrity doesn't.

I figured it out many years ago when there was no internet.
One way is correct.
The other way is incorrect.

I struggle with voices, particularly female.
That's wisdom kicking in.
Your brain knows, whatever they say isn't going to be important, so it automatically mutes them....

The best one is where the wind gets the ball and the kicker misses it.
I love it when that happens.

Jerry Garcia called Scotty the "Jimi Hendrix" of the fiddle.
This is why.

I gotta say, that Peterson ap is the best. It is smooth and perfect, but it did cost a few bucks.
But for acoustic jams, I just love a clip-on.

I read it very slowly and it made sense lol.

The Peterson is made much better and more accurate.
I love my Peterson, but I have too many acoustic instruments to load each with a Peterson.
I leave it on the J-45 most of the time.
It's the travel that is hard on clip-on tuners and I play around a bit still.
That didn't sound right......
