Thanks Guy's...I am enjoying the J-50 tremendously... this makes number nine for the Gibson acoustics and it is getting harder and harder to decide which to play each day but this new one gets the stage for a while,,HA

They are a tad high for my liking..but thought I would try them where they are at but I believe it may get adjusted. but I have not measured ..yet

Thanks, they have the 50's model out so I was able to play and compare both all four visits..I liked the 60's by far. The 50's model was pretty good however.

Looks good BK777, enjoy it..Yesterday I bought one of the new 60's reissue from Sweetwater and it is sweet ..I had never had the pleasure of even holding an original before a week ago. Love the guitar it is just smooth as butter to play and had a sweet voice..I love it maybe later I will get some pics posted. Enjoy your new look and set up on that guitar .

Sorry but it was the J50 I tried both but it was the J-50 1960's model my mistake.

I went out yesterday for the first time in any store or business in 54 days..It was a joy. Sweetwater had one of the 60's j-50 out and I tried it and loved it.. I have never even held one before..but it was fantastic.. anyone else tried them yet?
