Most of you might remember Ernie Herzig as a roadie for the band Paper Lace. He worked for them in July and August of 1974 while on summer break from high school. RIP brother!!!

I think it just the photo that give the appears the bridge is off.
If I was a betting man, I would put my money on the phone as his problem. My son uses his and I can get him to use the pitch pipe I bought back in 76.

That is an awesome top, congrats on the new Lester!!
Just for giggles, try a different tuner and see what you get. I had a similar issue and at the end, the problem was with the tuner.

Firstly 2018 Tributes are described as having the 498T pickup included in retails sites, as you have said.
Gibson used to allow navigation for year. I cant find that now. However, I just checked the website & found that 490R and 490T are listed for the Tribute (now). Also this configuration checks out for 2017. So it looks as if the 498T was only fitted in 2018.
You say you bought your 2018 two years ago (2017), so presumably that was a sprint run in 2017? Or did you actually buy a 2017 model? Because that would explain it.
Here you go. It appears you are correct.

It's not I a phishing attempt it's a legit post. I would post the pics but I use my FB page to post mine...
It's a Deluxe as he describes that's been heavily modified. It's not much different from the 75 Deluxe we discussed earlier. I think the OP is correct on the Duncan pups, there has been no routing job on the body. Only thing is there are drill holes with switches around the knobs. It looks well played. IMHO, I would not pay more than 2k for it. I will let Pip explain the popularity of the Deluxes of that era

I don't really collect shipping boxes, but they are so hard to find where I live, I don't ever throw them out either.
I keep them in a storage unit and stack them so that all you see when you open the door is the bottom panel of a bunch of guitar boxes. I think if I ever can't make the storage payments some vulture is going to get to bid on my "abandoned' storage. They will be pretty bummed when they find out that those Gibson, Suhr, Fender CS boxes are all empty!
If that day ever happens, I pray you're there with a camera! 😂

I had a Vox AC4 and I was able to cut through the drums and other guitars without cranking it all the way. It remained clean too. I would pick that out of the choices you gave

My comb doesn't have any resistance at all. In fact, I don't even own a comb any more.
I found my old blow dryer a year ago in the attic. I cried, it was like meeting an old friend. I saw it in the trash a month later and confronted my wife. Her only reply was that I didn't need it anymore. I thought it should have been donated to the Smithsonian or something.

Some of you guys mentioned some of the duds that are on the various albums, most of them I agree with, there was some stinkers. What if at the time of the final mix of these albums they decided to keep theses duds off? Then when the 50th anniversary of the albums remixes come out like they have been, they decide to throw those duds in as never heard before tracks? What would we think of the now, being its the first time we will be hearing it?
