I couldn't agree more about the mid-90 to very early 00 models. I've loved every one I played. I think I might have found a stock 97 gold top. Prob gonna jump on that one.
Thanks for all the replies everyone! You saved me alot of potential heartache with that Deluxe.
Smart man!! Look forward to the NGD post! 👍

IMHO, between the nut and the bridge is where you get the magic, anything beyond those points does not matter. Maybe the life of the strings... maintaining tuning ... nothing more than that... I heard all the arguments against what I just stated, don't bother, my mind is made up. 😁

Was this like a subway station? What kind of gates are you talking about. All I can really picture are turn-style type entrances.
We have a line here in Jersey that the gates have doors like these. I was picturing this in his story.

SOS every Wednesday night.
Was it the real SOS and not the chipped beef Hormel has out? It doe's look like something the dog yacked up, but man it tastes good. The chow hall in the Air Force used to serve it over hash browns. I've made it for my boys and they love it.
Real SOS.

Judging by my ball-park guess of an exposure time of between 1 and 2 seconds the traces where the light-source moves (as opposed to those frames where the light-beams are seen) would suggest a fairly slow moving source with twin light-sources. I'm absolutely baffled but night-vision specs being worn by three individuals has always seemed (to me) to be the original source but, if so, why on earth they are hanging around so close to the central reservation of a motorway?
Looking at the first in the latest series of pics posted by m-e, it shows that one of the light sources is an emitter because the light beams consolidate at one point and head upwards.
The movement of the light-pairings is too slow to be a vehicule but what else / why would anything else be there in the first place never mind being so slow-moving?
Very interesting!
Pip.
I have a green laser sight for one of my guns and those pics kind of remind me of it. Although it's most likely not a laser sight, perhaps someone is messing with lasers?

It's (almost) unbelievable how skilled they must be!
Just try - for a laugh - to fingerpick one melody with your left hand but finger a second melody with your right hand. It's like the left hand being asked to fingerpick 'Can't Find My Way Home' but the right hand being asked to fret the notes to 'Presence of the Lord'. And that's without trying to play two-to-a-guitar...
I can't even start to attempt that challenge.
Absolutely astonishing!
Pip.

So the 97 Goldtop is a no go right now? Depending on price and condition... something to consider
