mgrasso
After all of the postings on the ES-355 in Pelham Blue, I am perplexed on what to do. I bought the white one a little over a year ago. Have played it somewhat. Did not put the pick guard on. (My only white guitar so it might be worth holding on to.) My local GC has the Pelham in stock (so the website says). So should I Stay with the White? Or go with the Pelham? Which do you think would be the sought after 15 years from now, if ever . (I know what most are thinking, Keep the White and buy the Pelham, and with my GC card and 12 months same as cash financing, that would be an option, but I am looking at doing that with the 62 Crestwood reissue if they ever come back around and a Fender Passport 150 PA system)
Cyphre
Get the Pelham. Trade the white one for it with a mind towards keeping the blue forever. That's my advice.
RunningDownTheR
If blue does it for you then go for it... it's about what excites you in your time
Bluemans335
Keep the white. It appeals to a lot more players than blue, which is more of a fad. I have a few white guitars, won't own a blue or green one.
bluelake07
I like white solid body guitars more than semi-hollow so I would trade for the Pelham.
charlie brown
Buy the Pelham Blue one, and Keep the White one, too! You Can't have too many Semi's, can you??!! CB
mgrasso
CB, your right. You can never have too many semi's. They are offering 12 month same as cash which is right up my alley. Going out today to check it out. They only have 1 and its on the floor. If I like it, I might have them order a clean one.

Although some people tend to call me a collector in the recent past, I still see myself as a player. My bandmates know about it.
mgrasso
Well for the time being, I am keeping my white 355. I went out to inspect the Pelham Blue. The color is a lot lighter than in some of the posted photos. (I have no problem that) Looked beautiful except for the area right where the neck meets the body. The finish looks like, and this is the only way I can describe it, it was painted over putty. This was the same problem I had with the first two white ones that were sent to me. I finally got one that was perfect and I'm going to keep it. What I am thinking about is ordering one and have it delivered to the store and going through the process again. GC is offering 18 months same as cash and my card is down to $100. Then again there was a nice Washburn and Takamine blonde jumbo A/E that needed a home. Just wished Epiphone offered more Acoustic choices.
