RowdyMoon
First thing I notice is the price....a gibby for that price? pawn shop or not never see one that cheap.
rocketman
I think that acoustic does come with three screws on the truss rod cover. The pick guard is not right though.
Riffster
Looks like one of those Canadian Gibson acoustics they made briefly, kind of different but legit I think.

That's the first thing I thought to. Does the label look screwy? I wish they had placed a photo of the serial number on the back of the head stock. A year or so ago this same shop had a fake LP with MOP inlaid flames, the crap binding, the whole nine yards was off...

Riffster
For $650 with a case I'd consider it, would negotiate the price too.
bobouz
Yup, made in the former Garrison factory. If the tone & playability are satisfying, it might represent a very reasonable deal.
Markini
yep it is the only Gibson built outside the U.S.. Besides a brief time in Japan. I own one and mine is a very good guitar, tone and playability. It reminds me of a little bit of a Taylor. I too got mine with a nice hard case for about $700, I purchased it at Best Buy a couple of years ago, It looks legit to me.
jaxson50
Ok, I checked it out, somI had to report my findings of course! It is the real deal, there is a surface crack on the top going from the bridge to the binding just above the end pin, and a small ding on the top next to the crack. They said they would come down to $650.00 with the orig. case. I don't need another acoustic so I passed...
