J-200 Koa
I will have to pass on the ebony DIF. The nicest DIF I have ever seen is owned by a forum member and has a natural back and sides. Painting the body black covers the best features of the guitar: the wood. Just my $.

Painting the body black covers the best features of the guitar: the wood. Just my $.02 It's hard to tell from the pictures and I haven't looked at the specs but are we sure this is "painted black" and not stained black? If it's stained black then the wood grain will still be visible.
MissouriPicker
I'm not a big fan of black guitars (not even the Johnny Cash D35), but that is a beauty.

BluesKing777
I have 4 black guitars of differing shapes and sizes, so I like black guitars too! Vintage non shiny black like my avatar pic to ze left is way easier to keep clean! Is that maple under that paint? BluesKing777.

bobouz
We're certainly all different. Personally: -Don't care for all black bodies. -Least favorite shape is the square-shoulder. -Nothing left to offset the over-the-top bling. But others will love this & it's great to have choices.
