daveinspain
I just got sent a link to hear a streamed version of RP's new album… You can hear the whole album and if you like it buy it… I've only heard the first few tunes but, what a disappointment so far… The first song just sounds like a mess. Seems like the rhythm tracks are all over the place and the vocal is trying to stay in sync. Hope the rest of the album is better. Anyone else hear it? IanHenry
Here is a link that works in the U.K: http://www.npr.org/2014/09/01/343144827/first-listen-robert-plant-lullaby-and-the-ceaseless-roar Dave, I think the sound your hearing on the first track is Plant drawing on his North African influences that he's so fond of. jdgm
IMO 'Mighty Re-arranger' is the best one by far. The one with Alison Krauss is ok if you like that side of him - it has a beautiful sound - and 'Manic Nirvana' has its moments. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zy_u-FYbDvo
