JuanCarlosVejar Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Folks, here's Matt Demoing the J 35 & J 45 Koa Elite : Beards Up ! JC
nopicknick Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I am a huge fan of Koa and love my Taylor Fall Limited Edition Koa 326......having Koa any where on a J45 would be incredible.
Phelonious Ponk Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Both of those guitars sound great. I wish they were the same piece, or at least the same technique, so we could compare them better. P
Bozz Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Thanks for posting those demo's, JC. Two very nice guitars. You can't really make a side by side comparison due to playing style differences, but they both bring something to the table and sound pretty nice in their own ways. The burst on that J-45 Elite Koa is beautiful. The projection and big bottom end of the J-35 is clearly evident. I have a J-35 and it's loud and bassy too. But mine sounds quite a bit brighter than this one.
MissouriPicker Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 I thought the J35 definitely had the mahogany warmth. The J45 did sound bright to me, at least on this video. I could live with either, preferably both of these guitars. The J45 is very easy-on-the-eyes.
BluesKing777 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I have really been enjoying watching the video reviews from Eddies Guitars - I have played most of them while I am working... Look what I found at the end of the list - THE BALD GUY!!!!!!!! no beard and no hair!!!!! I was worried for a while that the trend to hair was taking over, but no (apologies in advance, Mr Furber): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiwKo9752jk BluesKing777.
