I actually like a basier 12 string sound unlike the majority who like the trebly jangle With a Gibson short scale twlve, you are going to get more rumble in the lower mids and bass. BUT because the string is not as taut as a /ls twelve, you may loose definition. Oth you get more chordal blend. That's the Gibson trade-off. Wish they'd start making a slope-12 again. They made them from 67-74 (not 63) The adjustable bridge as shown was made from 67-69 But my reference material may be wrong. I wouldn't mind trying this one out.
