[sorry, I didn't mean to start a whole new topic, I thought that I was posting in an existing subject. I was referring to the Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit.

Since it doesnt mention any different, I imagine its Qingdao. Don't let the snobs fool you. They've been making excellent guitars there for many years now.

Yes I do have one, but I've got 2 Gibsons too; and I still say Epis are good.

I have more than a few Epi's...a Chinese Dot, an MIJ (Terada) Elitist Casino, an Indonesian Wildkat, a few acoustics...all are on a fit/finish qualtiy with my Gibby/Carvin/PRS brethren. Don't look down at Epi's

Can not agree more, I have several Gibsons, 5 Les Pauls, a Recording guitar, and 2 SG's but I play mostly my Epiphone Arch tops. I have several older Korean made Epi's but I have the newer Chinese made models, too and they are great players.

I have 2 $3000 Gibsons sitting in a closet while my Epiphones are doing some recording now...

AND I don't think you can beat the Epi acoustics, either.
