iankinzel
I'm just curious, because I myself have both an Epiphone Wilshire and Epiphone Crestwood (both with mini humbuckers). It's interesting to me to see what amps people pair up with these particular guitars.
Parabar
I happened to see a live video of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers over the weekend. Rhythm guitarist/keyboardist Scott Thurston was playing a Wilshire or Crestwood for several tunes through a Divided by 13 amp, and it sounded great in the mix. charlie brown
Expensive "Boutique" amps can/will make anything sound good/better! But, even a good "mainstream" "Tube" amp, will work very well, with the Wilshire/Crestwood models. It will be more "what kind" of amp tone/sound "American" (Fender/Mesa), or "British" (Vox, Marshall, Orange, etc.) you're looking for. Just go out and try a bunch, of each, and see what YOU love! JAC
Wilshire Pro with ALNICO Classic Pros with Marshall DSL5C, Vox Lil' Night Train, Orange Micro Terror, Blackstar HT-1. If using nice ods and fuzz, etc. I really like both Electar Tube 10 but, what really smokes is a SF 78 Fender Vibro Champ.
