Dodger11
Anyone know if the design makes a difference since the strings kind of run inward instead of out? I've heard a few great sounding Seagulls
Red 333
Gibson-style sunburst, yes. Kalamazoo-style Epiphone shaded burst, not so much. Red

Red 333 Must agree on the Gibson burst being the one. Sunburst just around the edge don't look right to me.
Aster1
Coincidentally, I got this in an email and it shows a much better representation of that Ovation (scroll down to the video): http://igpa.org/learn-to-play-like-lindsey-buckingham/ Ovations are like Gretsch; you like 'em or you don't LOL For me I like 'em both. Esp. the Gretsch's. Aster
OldCowboy
I've never looked at a Seagull headstock because I've never looked twice at a Seagull. Thanks for pointing out how truly dumb looking that 'stock is. Like a 14th century lute. rct The headstock's why I looked twice; couldn't believe what I thought I saw the first time. At least I was sufficiently polite not to stare!
cliffenstein
My usual go-to opinion is sunburst for acoustic and solid color for electric.
