ilovegibsons
Ok, here's the grand plan... I buy a Gary Moore BFG, a p/up cover for the Bucker (I hate the Zebra colouration) and fit it. I am a guitar N00b at mods, but my teacher knows his stuff. Is this an easy first mod, and more to the point, is it a good idea, or are there any other changes I should make? KSG_Standard
Add a truss rod cover and a switch tip and you are in business...

KSG_Standard
The gary moore comes with a truss rod cover....what is this 'switch tip' you speak of? Sorry, I was thinking about a standard BFG..the regular ones come without a trc or a switch tip (kill switch)...My bad.
ilovegibsons
Anyone know a good site to buy/browse with prices in £GBP? (Great British Pounds)
Thundergod
Maybe you should think about a pickup ring for that humbucker... and a cover for the p-90 as well...
Thundergod
I would also relocate the selector switch to the "normal" position and ad a second tone pot w/knob. Change all knobs to amber gibson knobs, or even black ones (considering all the hardware in the guitar is black). EDIT: waitaminute! in the "gallery" part the guitar is showed with nickel hardware... but in the main pic its showed with black hardware... is that an option or did they just f.ck up? ilovegibsons
So far, I think thats: Covers for the Bucker and p90 Switch Washer I would say new knobs but I really like the ones on the BFG at the moment. I'm hoping to go down to Denmark St and browse for a few hours during half term....
Bluemoon
The first thing I would do is get her setup. That would give you the most bang for the buck (or pound). Also, what kind of amp do you have?
ilovegibsons
Denmark st have AWESOME setups. Its like the guitar capital of the uk. I using a Vox AD30VT. Its a modelling amp.

Homz
If your going to insult someone like your previous "FU Homz" comment. At least have some flare. Your lacking in the clever. You've got spunk though. Keep up the good work. For example you might start like this: WTF Homz you fu*ked up a perfectly good LP. You might as well have got a switch ring that read "gay and bisexual". See that has some character. Work on it then get back with me.
