KSG_Standard
I just finished replacing the broken pickup rings on one of my LPs, and I thought that I would pass along a great tip that I picked up on another forum. Some of you may already do this, but it was a revelation to me. I used small alligator clips to hold the pup adjustment springs onto the screws while I changed the rings. Simple and cheap, keeps the springs from shooting across the room while you line up and start the screws. Just another great use for alligator clips... surfpup
For real mojo, you have to soak them in bourbon before installing them. Dramatic improvement in tone!
