Johnso52
Was considering purchasing this flying V but I’m a bit cautious on its authenticity, look at the link let me know what you think. serial 010671333 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F153620111112
Wmachine
S/n says 2007. I'm with you being quite suspicious. Many things make me suspicious, especially the ad. The body doesn't look right, the pickguard doesn't look right on the body. A custom that isn't a custom? I don't know enough here to be really specific, but I will say it doesn't look right. But can't be sure it is a fake either.
Big Bill
The pictures are of different guitars. Someone bought it... PT Barnum...
Johnso52
Thanks for your responses, of course I did not purchase it, but fake or not cool looking V.. Looks like walnut? Instead settled on a mint 1995 ‘67 reissue. $1000.
SteveFord
That looks like a much better choice.
MichaelT
That V was heavily modded but I can speak from experience that 2007 was a great year for the Flying V. The headstock and body is consistent with mine. Mine is a 2007 Faded V with three pickups.
