QuestionMark
Rest In Peace Richard Penniman, aka Little Richard. The architect of rock n’ roll. My favorite of his was Lucille. But all of his songs were equally as great. What a voice. What an influence on just about every rocker. What a character, too. Chuck Berry did it with his guitar and his lyrics. Little Richard did it with his voice and energy. And, despite his personal struggles. May his memory be a blessing. bobouz
The Every Brothers original cover of Lucille is an all-time favorite of mine. Thank you Little Richard.
j45nick
He was definitely one of a kind. Elton John said the first time he saw/heard him, he knew what he wanted to be,

BluesKing777
RIP Little Richard. I was fortunate to see him play at a dump in Adelaide in the mid 70s sometime, also Chuck Berry and a few others possibly on the same bill on a "Rock & Roll Tour", not sure as those days are a bit foggy. 😁 He was incredible live and rocked the place and shocked the staid by dancing and singing on top of the piano in a his overalls type outfit.
