MorrisrownSal
This is an acquaintance of mine... we run in the same circle of musicians playing out in Brooklyn and NJ; Jimmy and my gigging partner Mike still make albums. He does these Sunday videos, and almost always uses his J-45. I love the ease with which he picks a tune. I think he is something else. Hope you enjoy

E-minor7
First thought when I saw the headline : That was it, , Sal has fallen out of love with his 45 or vice versa. . Not the case - good. What year is the groovy guy playing . This is a vintage guitar with some kind of Monel or Retro strings, isn't it. .
MorrisrownSal
Excellent eye EM with regard to the monel strings. I'll ask him about the guitar... I was going to say it might be a True Vintage model with some advanced wearing, but I cant see inside the soundhole. It could very well be a 50s J45 or so? I'll be back. 62burst
Nice. And a fine setting, too, what with the summer creatures getting going in the background. 'Guess he got out there before the lawnmowers. And yes, the thread title was a cause for concern.
rbpicker
Does your musical partner still have my old J45? roger
MorrisrownSal
Roger, yes he does. I actually played it for a few songs in the last gig we did in early March.
