USA Casino

Just received a USA Casino in Vintage Burst. Unfortunately there was a mistake made in production. The pickup covers are chrome instead of black. It may be the only one shipped with the wrong covers. Now I can swap it out for a new one or keep it the way it is. The only problem that I see is if I ever want to sell it, a buyer may think that I replaced the pickups. There’s no way to prove it was shipped like that. What would you do?

I bought a Royal Tan USA Casino with Chrome Nickel Dogear Covers.. IMO the Nickel Covers look Classier.. In the Case Candy there is a Photo that was taken at the factory on the final stop on the Assembly line.. You should have one too..

I just bought a B-7 Bigsby for mine.. I bought this Guitar for me.. I really have no plans on selling it.. But, if I do, I doubt I’ll have any problem..

I doubt you will either..

That should do it on showing any future buyers it was not modified.  also anyone buying it should be aware that the only thing consistent about gibson is the inconsistency!

I suspect there are many people out there that would much rather have the nickel covers on a Vintage Sunburst, and with proof it was done at the factory, you may even get a premium if you sell it.

+1 on this- the royal tan looks like a couple of the later beatles ones but the VS looks like the orginals.

Thanks for all the comments. Unfortunately I found a couple more flaws. The bridge pickup had some marks on the top dogear. It looked like when installing the screw the driver slipped and scratched it up. Also there was a deep dent in the finish by the trapeze. None of these imperfections should have been there. Don’t know how it passed inspection. As much as I would have liked keeping it, I sent it back.

You might have considered calling Gibson & send it to them for Warranty Repair or Replacement… I've had to do that with 1 Gibson ES Les Paul & 1 Epiphone Casino & they came back better than any Guitar you buy in any Store.. I own & have owned about 30 Gibsons & Epi’s over the years…

That Guitar is irreplaceable as it was a one off… You could’ve sold & probably made money.. Like that new USA Casino with the messed up Gold paint job that was on Reverb recently…

This seems to be a continuing story. I received my replacement Casino and the first thing I noticed while unpacking was that the case was brown with Gibson printed on top. It’s actually a nicer case than the Epiphone. According to Gibson  service, that’s impossible! Gibson and Epiphone are on opposite sides of the factory. Keep in mind I did cut the security tape put on at the factory.
The new guitar was perfect in regards to finish and action. But when I looked at the blue Epiphone label inside the guitar, I couldn’t believe they messed that up! There’s a crease going through the label. You can’t read what they wrote for Style. Unbelievable!
So once again I have to decide if I want to keep it or send it back. They will refund $200.00 if I keep it.

That’s the label on my new replacement Casino. Besides the crappy label, the guitar was shipped in a Gibson case.

The Style label on yours says Gloss… My new Royal Tan USA Epiphone Casino says the model name E230TD on the Blue label.. My Case is Gray outside & stamped Epiphone. The inside is Blue…

That is bizarre.

In regards to the case, the Casino is supposed to come with a Chinese-made grey/blue Epiphone case. You seem to have received the typical Canadian-made (or sometimes Costa Rica) TKL Gibson case. It is a better case, but doesn't match.

The label is strange, because "Gloss" shouldn't be an option. It's "Style E230TD," and "Epiphone Casino."

Yeah, very strange. Might be sending this one back too.

Does anyone know where you can hold of nickel or chrome covers for the Epiphone Casino USA ?

While I'm not sure about nickel or chrome covers, if you're into exploring exciting bonuses, check out no deposit bonus netherlands for the latest on no deposit bonuses in the Netherlands. It's always good to fine-tune your guitar and your gaming experience!

As I know you can buy any of it. Check with authorized Epiphone dealers or official retailers. They often stock a variety of genuine accessories for Epiphone guitars, including nickel or chrome covers.
