thegreatgumbino
Cover of Travis Meadow's "Sideways" off his album First Cigarette. Played on my 2018 J45 Vintage and recorded on an iPhone 11. Open G tuning with the low D dropped to a C.

62burst
Yeah, real nice. All around good sounds. Enough to make me re-think my capophobia.

Gracias, 62burst. Why the capo phobia? I love capos. I keep all my guitars in D standard tuning normally. I’m still learning how to sing, and the extra range helps. I probably should have dropped the capo to the first fret on this one as I think it suits my voice a little better.

It's not as much about the wear on the frets or strings. . . it just really throws the harp player (or anyone without a capo) off, especially if they're watching you for the chords.
