E-minor7
This demonstrates how clear and defined the Hummingbird is. It's not disturbed by the roomy (more 'stereo-like') nature we know, appreciate and get from many other scalloped acoustics. In a way the contemporary Birds lean toward the arch-tops - and some more than others. My now gone 08 did it a lot, the May 12 has more room and the April 12 lies in between. As said quite often on these pages, I rate this trait very highly when being alone (not least if learning/checking precision), but find it less attractive when playing with others. Due to the obvious logic that second/third guitars drown that certain virtue and leave the HB a bit thin or naked, , , therefor (also mentioned several times here), vulnerable. Buc McMaster
Sounds very dry and fundamental. Hard to tell for sure but looks like nickel wrapped strings.
